As the nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of its founding, the Kentucky Colonels America250 initiative proudly steps forward to honor the Commonwealth's enduring legacy. Kentucky's deep-rooted history, from its vital contributions as the first state west of the Alleghenies to join the Union to its role in embodying the true spirit of American expansion and independence, is integral to the story of America. We are dedicated to ensuring this milestone is celebrated all year long through events, sharing our history, and commemorative items.

Furthermore, we issue a special challenge to Colonels in all 50 states to celebrate America250 in their own communities and contribute to our shared mission, solidifying the vital connection between philanthropy, patriotism, and the preservation of our country's history.

To commemorate America’s 250th year, we’ve replaced the traditional Medal of Distinction with America250 medals. Special thanks to the Kentucky Historical Society.

Receive an America250 medal with your $100 contribution. For another $50, we’ll add the mini medal. And for a total contribution of $250, we’ll include both medals plus a handsome lapel pin!
